The 2009 Off-Season is pushing forward and first order of business is arbitration bids. From the Managers Homepage in OOTP X there should be a link to Salary Arbitration towards the upper left hand corner. There are basically two types of Arby players. The ones who have yet to play 6 years in the majors and the ones who are veterans that qualitfy for free agency. More will be explained in the forum.
A complete off-season schedule has been made and will be posted in the Sim Schedule link at the top of the website. It will take me a few minutes to do after I post this frontpage story... so if you don't see it yet it's coming. I mapped out the complete off-season on paper earlier this weekend that will get us all the way to opening day.
DO NOT place any bids for Free Agents yet. We have to wait for Arby to be detiremined and for ALL free agents eligable players to file for free agency before we can start taking bids. Believe me, I'll make is abundantly clear on the front page when you can start making offers. There will be 7 sims available to make FA bids and counter offers and such between the start of free agency and the first games of spring training.
