|Star LF Signs Extension with San Diego|
Friday, October 26th, 2018: Pablo Figueroa might be greedy, but there's no disputing his talent. The hotshot left fielder will pocket $42,570,000 after re-signing with the Warewolves earlier today, and will hang around another 3 years.
Some more financially prudent fans worried that the signing would burden the club down the road and might prevent it from being competitive, though many others were simply thankful that Figueroa didn't bolt.
Presently Figueroa is batting .327 with 186 hits and 34 home runs. He has knocked in 122 runs and scored 113 times.

While the deal is certain to raise a few eyebrows, Tucker is expected to earn every bit of the $36,150,000 promised him over 3 years.
So far this season Tucker has 23 wins and 4 losses and a 3.15 ERA.
